Put Stolen Goods in Your Base

Lenny is not the destination for every valuable you bring back. In ROB RUN, stolen goods go into your base, while Lenny's storage is for cash. That distinction matters because a stored haul still faces the risk of another player's raid.

Kefir's official answer to where stolen loot should be stashed is direct: use your base for the goods. It does not promise that depositing items makes them untouchable. The Steam description also presents bases as places to keep loot and vehicles, with improvements such as workbenches and safes.

Before heading toward a storage location, separate the goods you intend to keep from cash you want to protect. They use different systems, so an available cash-storage option does not necessarily solve your stolen-goods problem.

Rent an Eligible Plot if You Need a Base

You can establish a base only in a settlement that already has an owner. Look for a vacant plot there and pay rent at the sign beside it.

Location also affects the requirements: plots in level 2 and level 3 districts need special documents from the Black Market. The official help does not give a universal rental price or a complete storage-container upgrade sequence, so check the actual plot requirements in your game.

A basic preparation list is:

  • Find a settlement with an owner.
  • Locate an unoccupied plot.
  • Use the adjacent sign to pay rent.
  • Account for Black Market documents if choosing a level 2 or 3 district.

Improve Security Before Treating the Stash as Safe

The base-defense instructions recommend fuses in your Security System. These make intruders spend more time and resources on hacking it. Defense modules also notify your allies when an attack is underway.

Those protections can make a raid harder, but the guidance does not describe guaranteed immunity. Keep the difference clear when deciding what to store: a defensive improvement raises the obstacle for an attacker; it is not proof that a particular stash cannot be reached.

Read Kefir's official stolen-loot storage guidance for the base-versus-Lenny distinction and raid warning.

Use Banking for a Different Kind of Protection

Once your concern is cash rather than unsold goods, banking becomes relevant. Visit Looty Bay Bank as a Civilian to open an account, then put cash through your base's Laundering Desk. The process takes time, protects funds from theft until the next wipe and allows cash withdrawals at ATMs.

This does not turn the bank into a storage service for stolen merchandise. Choose the system that matches the possession: base storage for goods, Lenny's storage for cash, or banking and laundering for the documented theft protection.

FAQ

Where should I store stolen loot in ROB RUN?

Use your base for stolen goods. Other players can still raid that base.

Can Lenny store stolen items?

The official storage page says Lenny stores cash, and directs stolen goods to your base.

Where can I establish my first base?

Find a vacant plot in a settlement with an owner and pay rent at the sign. Higher-level districts require the stated Black Market documents.

What helps defend my stash?

Fuses in the Security System make hacking more costly, while defense modules alert allies to an ongoing attack. Neither is described as guaranteed protection from every raid.
